This course will provide training in the fundamental techniques of Theatrical Combat for Smallsword and will culminate in a performance of a theatrical fight scene with a Smallsword duel.
Students who complete the class may be eligible to take the Level 1 Skills Test in this discipline for certification with Dueling Arts International. (Note: Students who miss more than 1 class or miss either of the final two classes will not be eligible to submit for certification, though they may still participate in the training.)
Required Attire: Closed-toed athletic shoes, a pair of full-fingered gloves to wear when handling the swords — any kind of cloth or leather athletic or gardening gloves will do.
