Led by Kris Kuss, Associate Professor of Movement at Oklahoma City University and Senior Instructor of Dueling Arts International
This course will provide training in the fundamental techniques of Theatrical Combat for the dual weapons of Rapier & Dagger. Students who complete the class may be eligible to take the Level 1 Skills Test in this discipline for certification with Dueling Arts International.
(Note: Students who miss more than 1 class or miss either of the final two classes will not be eligible to submit for certification, though they may still participate in the training.)
Dueling Arts International is a non-profit organization devoted to providing comprehensive training for performers, teachers, and directors in the arts of theatrical combat.
Students must provide a pair of full fingered gloves to wear when handling the weapons.
