Are you a performing arts student ready to step in front of the camera? This exciting, hands-on class bridges the gap between stage and screen, giving you the tools to confidently perform for film and television. You’ll explore how movement, expression, and presence shift depending on the camera’s angle and distance, while also gaining practical knowledge of essential on-set roles, equipment, and industry lingo. Learn how to create and submit professional self-tapes, rehearse and film scenes with your peers, and even try your hand at basic editing. By the end of the course, you’ll not only walk away with footage to review and learn from, but also with a clear sense of how to keep growing as an on-camera performer.
