Join us for this Oklahoma Premiere! Charley Maplewood has never been one for parties – that would require friends, which he doesn’t have. Well, unless you count his monster friends, but they’re only imaginary. But now that he’s turning ten—the big one-oh—he decides to throw a birthday party for himself, complete with a “House of Horrors” theme. Of course, things don’t work out as he plans. Will Charley be able to pull it together before the big one-oh . . . becomes the big OH-NO!?

TAKE FIVE | Ages 9-12
Fridays 5:00-6:30PM
(Occasional Saturday rehearsals)

TAKE FIVE combines the learning elements with the producing of a junior show. Each semester is spent focusing on technical components of theatre and applying that knowledge in a practical context. This class is a great choice for children in elementary and middle school as they learn theatre production, navigate age appropriate challenges, and create a community of like-minded friends.

Set in turn-of-the century New York City, NEWSIES is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right! Based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story.
