SHREK THE MUSICAL
COMMUNITY PRODUCTION

"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.
​​IMPORTANT! Please bring this AUDITION FORM filled out to auditions.

Prepare one (1) musical cut for your audition, 1 minute long and in the style of the show. You should bring sheet music for the accompanist, hole-punched and in a 3-ring binder. Music must be in a binder and properly marked. Acapella singing or singing with a track will not be allowed.
Actors should bring a headshot (8"x10") and resume (trimmed to 8"x10"), and they should be attached back-to-back with staples. You should also bring a completed Audition Form. We will not have extra copies of music/sides.

Those unable to attend live auditions are welcome to submit a video audition. Please still sign up for an audition slot at the link above and note in the comment that you are submitting a video. Videos are due by 10:00AM on Saturday of auditions. For video audition guidelines, CLICK HERE.
