This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.​

TUITION
$30 non-refundable registration fee
$700 tuition due by first day of camp
Enhance theatrical performance skills through acting, dance, and music in just 50 hours! Young artists will work with highly-qualified instructors as they develop a full production including the use of set, microphones, costumes, and props!

Please note, because of the condensed rehearsal schedule, students need to make every effort to attend every day. Conflicts must be shared with the directors at auditions.​

IMPORTANT! Please bring this AUDITION FORM filled out to auditions.
Prepare a 1 minute or 16-32 bar cut of a song of your choosing in the style of the show. Students should prepare sheet music - three hole-punched and in a 3-ring binder - for the accompanist. Students MUST audition with the accompanist; tracks or acapella singing are not allowed.​
