ALICE BY HEART

In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.
As they travel through the tale, ALICE BY HEART explores the poignancy of first love, coming to terms with loss, and finding the courage to move forward. This world premiere musical encourages us all to celebrate the transformational power of the imagination, even in the harshest of times.
TUITION

$650 tuition due by first day of camp
Enhance theatrical performance skills through acting, dance, and music in just 40 hours! Young artists will work with highly-qualified instructors as they develop a full production including the use of set, microphones, costumes, and props!
Please note, because of the condensed rehearsal schedule, students need to make every effort to attend every day. Conflicts must be shared with the directors at auditions.

IMPORTANT! Please bring this AUDITION FORM filled out to auditions.
Prepare a 1 minute or 16-32 bar cut of a song of your choosing in the style of the show. Students should prepare sheet music - three hole-punched and in a 3-ring binder - for the accompanist. Students MUST audition with the accompanist; tracks or acapella singing are not allowed.
Those unable to attend live auditions are welcome to submit a video audition. Please still sign up for an audition slot at the link above and note in the comment that you are submitting a video. Videos are due by 10:00AM on Saturday, May 11th. For video audition guidelines, CLICK HERE.

Feel free to bring a snack and water bottle every day. Please no peanuts. Every student should bring and wear jazz shoes (black). These will also be used in the performances.
